In this tutorial we will learn how to create an elegant book poster with a galaxy, planet & space background in Photoshop.

Now that we have everything we need, so let’s start!
Step 1: Open your photoshop and create a new file with 950px Width and 1000px Height.
Step 2: Select the “Paint Bucket Tool” and fill the background with color # 000000.
Step 3: Open the light texture and paste it on our file.
Step 4: Now scale it down a bit. So click on edit> Free Transform or you can press down Command/Ctrl + T.
Step 5: Now duplicate the layer, right click on the layer and select “Duplicate Layer”.
Step 6: Now click on edit> Transform. And rotate the texture.
Step 7: Open the Model image I’ve mentioned above in photoshop.
Step 8: Select the “Pen Tool” and create a path around the girl. You can also use quick selection tool as we just want to roughly select the girl. Step 9: Once the girl is roughly selected, then right click on the path and select “Make Selection”.
Step 10: Now copy and paste it on our file. And erase some hair using Eraser Tool.
Step 11: Now create a new layer and fill it with color # 313131.
Step 12: Now change the Blending mode of the above layer to “Vivid Light”.
Step 13: Now reduce the opacity to 65%.
Step 14: Create a new layer, for this click on Layer> New> Layer. Now select the cloud brushes and use them randomly on our file. Use different colors # d65812, # ee8b2a and # a0410d.
Step 15: Now create another layer and this time use the space brushes with the color # ffffff.
Step 16: Now use the star brushes and make sure this time your foreground color is # ab8500.
Step 17: Now add the planets using galaxy brushes and star brushes. You can also add a bit of Drop shadow if you want.
Step 18: Repeat the same process and add some more planets.
Step 19: Now select the “Text Tool” and add some text using colors # ff9600 and # e1911e.
Step 20: Last but not least add the “Entheos” text with color # cd761b. You can also add some stars there with the same color using the star brushes.
